- MMS is a telecommunications standard for delivering media content
and its free for the consumer
- This media content can be delivered as an audio clip, image, animation
or video clip and can now be up to 300kb in file size
- This is embedded within the MMS message and is played back
instantly, without the need to link to an external web or WAP site
- The majority of handsets developed since 2003 with a colour screen
can receive MMS messages when enabled with their service provider
- Most handsets developed since 2006 now have built in MMS capability
- MMS advertising therefore gives us access to a huge proportion of the
ever growing mobile demographic especially in the key 16-24 youth
market
